Hi, I’m Molly and this is 'Good Boy Goose'.

Starting something like this has always been a dream of mine, I have always wanted to own a store centred around pets. Whether that’s a gift shop, a pet store, doggy day care or even a dog walking business. I’ve never been worried about 'what' it will be, I just know I want my whole world to revolve around these animals that mean so much to all of us.

Speaking of, I have two gorgeous boys myself, Chief (a 4 year old Sprockerdor) and Moose (a 3 year old Springador, aka Goose). Like many pet owners, they’ve given me such a purpose and to me they’re not “just pets”, they’re family.

I have always been creative, I’ve worked in graphic design and marketing for close to 10 years and completed a degree in Graphic Arts and Design (graduating with a First🎉).

Around four years ago, I started a pet portrait business called 'Made by Molly Wells' focusing on highly detailed, hyper realistic pet portraits (and paw portraits). While I loved creating these pieces, after time I felt a real disconnect from drawing in this style. I wanted to create something more unique, bold and fun.

After recently being made redundant (and currently 18 weeks pregnant!) I found myself needing a fresh start. Luckily, I had already began experimenting with new pet portrait styles and techniques, coming up with different product ideas, and trying to figure out whether I really could have my own "Pet Gift Shop".

That’s how 'Good Boy Goose' came to life.

I don't just want to stop at pet portraits - I absolutely love drawing your pets, but I want to be able to expand and offer more. After lots of research, this dream of having my very own space to create handmade, unique pet products is finally coming to life.

This is just the beginning and I am so excited to share this journey with you. Everything from 'Good Boy Goose' is and will be designed with the same care, creativity, and love for pets.
